Living a life with no health issues and finding out that I have a chronic disease seems like having two lives. I found out about it when I was 20 years old and it changed my life forever! One day I was a like every other woman and lived my life without with any serious problem. The only issue I had was what to wear to school. However, finding out that I suffer from endometriosis was really hard. I started wondering if I will ever be able to live without pain, have kids or ever be able to be happy again. The moment when I found out was that moment when I started surviving instead of living my life. This is how having endometriosis feels like for me!

Even though it is hard, I still have to say that I am one of the lucky ones because I had a successful laparoscopy that literally saved my life. Medications made me able to keep all under control and bring my life to normal again. I even had a daughter! Even though it gets easier, is a daily battle between me and my body. Some days I win, some days I lose. I am very happy I can enjoy those days without pain. It is better than nothing and living in constant pain. My only hope is that my daughter won’t have to suffer like me. Whether or not she will have endometriosis I hope there will be a cure in the future for it!🎗
