Hello, I’m Dora and I’m suffering from partial paralysis in my legs due to severe Spinal Stenosis. I totally depend on my powered wheelchair every day to get around. Wheelchairs make my life much easier, as I wouldn’t be able to do run my errands any other way. They give me the freedom not to depend on someone else all the time.
That is not all. I also have diabetes but it is well under control. It is not easy to cope, but I am a fighter. I want to live and I love my life, even though it brought some challenges to me. I’m alive after being struck by a vehicle some 10 yrs. ago and still striving. One moment is enough to turn a life of anyone upside down. I would never think, not even in my wildest dreams, that this would happen to me.
Now I’m facing back surgery because my paralysis has progressed. This is a challenging time for me and I need every support and positive energy I can get. I just ask everyone to pray for me. It would mean a lot to me. I will continue to strive and live to my best strength and ability.
