Endometriosis

It all started with horrible pains and then I got my period when I was 10. The pains kept getting worse. I went to the doctor and they ran a few tests they said with the symptoms it was endometriosis. As a 10 year old, I didn’t know what that was. But my mom knew she had it also at a young age. I was homeschooled throughout middle school and high school because I couldn’t stand the pain. My first laparoscopy was at 11. I’m fine for a few years after surgery but then the pain comes back. By age 18 I had my 3rd surgery. I was told I couldn’t have any kids and that scared me. By age 25 I got pregnant I was so happy but nervous at the same time. I had a little girl. Then 2 years later I had a boy. I’m now 34 and going into my 8th surgery in August. I really hope this hysterectomy helps. My only fear Is hoping my daughter doesn’t have to go through this. Endometriosis completely changed my life.
