Having a parent with Alzheimer’s disease is very sad.

We know Our Mother or Father are there but they don’t recognize us. We want their happiness, their peace. Their own personality again.

I am writing this because the love of my life, my beautiful Mother passed away from Alzheimer’s. She was intelligent, beautiful with a CPA degree. Owner of a big Real Estate Company.

During her 10 years of sickness she was full of Love, and More Love. Be kind, have compassion, kiss them, hug them, sing to them. Also, talk to your Mom or Dad about the Love of God. They listen.

One day I came to see my Mom, she was in a home. She has her eyes close. Very close. I opened her eyes, told her, Mom, here I am and woke her up, dressed her in a beautiful rose scarf, combed her hair, kissed her, and gave her a delicious cookie in her hands in her fingers, helped her to put it in her mouth and she smiled very proud and happy.

She had another personality but you know something that was the most beautiful times of my life and of her life.

Because she was ready to pass and she was making all her effort to be happy and pretty for me. I was happy to see her open her big and brown beautiful eyes once more.

Love is all you have to give for an Alzheimer’s relative or friend. Pray and hope for a cure. Bless the opportunity you will find to give Love to anyone in your life with Alzheimer’s disease.
