If someone were to ask me if I expected to find strength in my present circumstances I would say who are you kidding?

But life has had its way of just showing me how strength comes in many forms like the colors of a rainbow. Day by day I wake up not really knowing if I can but a voice from within days “yes you can.” So I put one foot in front of the other and every day see strength in its many forms and see though I may be weak at times I have the opportunity to inspire others. Sometimes true strength is letting others see how your weakness does not have to define you. In turn that weakness can be a driving force for the path, you take in life. It has helped me see that I don’t have to be tied down by the roadblocks in life and that I can rise to victory.

My life is too short to let my health be the only thing that defines me. I want to shine brightly in the sky and be that beacon of light with a fight song that helps others see they too can raise their fist in the air and conquer what is seen and unseen.

We can all unite and build one another up and lean upon the hope that there is a light at the end of the tunnel even when it may seem dark and narrow. There is a strength to be found even in the darkest pit of our lives.

So today I chose to be fully awake feeling everything around me and letting my weakness rise up within me a new song of an unending hope that this too has a reason under the sun.
