Hey guys, my name is Brittany Michelle, I am 25 years old and I have been diagnosed with idiopathic systemic juvenile Rheumatoid arthritis since I was 2.
I’ve started a vlog on youtube sharing tips DIYs and so much more all made to inspire. I’ve been living with this disease for over 20 years now and have just recently realized the importance of connecting with fellow warriors.
It can get real lonely when you are fighting an illness and no one around you can fully understand the gravity of the situation we deal with on a day to day basis.
I am not saying that no one else goes through anything, but the burden that we carry seems the most difficult to us.
What I will say is we ALL have a struggle and me being diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at 3 having bilateral hip replacements at 15 and a wrist fusion at 19 is really hard. And all I can say is I know it could be worse.
What I think keeps me motivated is the fact that I know and realize how blessed I am to live in a country where I have received amazing care at Ucsf medical center.
I pray this can become an outlet for me and help me to connect with more people that have the same fate as I do.
