Eventually, two years later, I finally got the courage to take it out. I started working out and trying to gain my confidence again. After I had my birth control removed, literally two days later I felt so relieved. It was like if all my problems had been lifted off my shoulders. I have lost about 20 pounds since and I have got help for depression which made a positive change in my life.
