Anxiety

I didn't know about social anxiety at the time. I was only four years of age. A well behaved, good natured, quiet, shy child who NEVER could say no and/or yes. I was just a scrunch of the nose, raise of the shoulders, tilt of the head "whatever" kind of girl.

Being in pageants has given me a support group so big it’s almost overwhelming. Thanks to the relationships I have made in these amazing organizations I have learned that I don’t have to be alone. I don’t need to be sad anymore. Even when I am sad, or anxious, or nervous, or overwhelmed I know I’m not alone.
