Admittedly, I turned to drugs to cope. I was a mess. Kicked out of college, homeless, addicted to drugs.
Two years after I first got kicked out of college, I found out I was pregnant. I quit smoking. Quit doing drugs. Quit my destructive behavior to mask all of hurt, pain, and anxiety.

I started getting help for my anxiety. And turns out that my anxiety isn’t just anxiety anymore. Along with it, I have PTSD and depression. I take my medicine.
I go to my therapist. I know my son saved my life. I don’t know how to thank him other than to live my life the best that I can.
