Psoriatic PStandup Interview!

440

We recently came across the youtube channel, Psoriatic PStandup.  It was created and run by Chris Pettit who has Psoriatic Psoriasis. He helps raise awareness for Psoriatic Psoriasis by creating video’s that involve some very clever jokes and psoriasis puns. We had the chance to ask him a few questions about how psoriasis has affected him.

When did you first find out you had Psoriasis and how did it affect your life?

I first started showing symptoms of psoriasis when I was around 12 years of age. It affected my life negatively to begin with, I was made fun of because of it. But when I became an adult I decided enough was enough. I decided to turn things around for the positive.

What do Doctors not tell you about Psoriasis?

As far as doctors and the information they don’t give you, is that it’s not an autoimmune disease. At least that’s been my experience.

What are your plans with your Vlog?

Last year I decided to launch my YouTube channel, Psoriatic Pstandup as a way to make people feel better through laughter. Because for me personally, laughter has always helped me get through some tough times. I am hoping to grow my channel and to reach more people. Awareness is so important.

I would definitely recommend following him on youtube. His video’s can cheer you up if you’re living with any form of Psoriasis. In fact, if you have any great Psoriasis puns or jokes, please comment down below with them.
