I’m a 33-year-old woman. I recently checked myself in at Fort Hamilton Hospital in Hamilton, OH.
I was only there for 2 days but they helped me tremendously. They have me on the right medications.
I’m Bipolar 1. I have twitches, insomnia, mood changes super fast. I’m also a diabetic. I have always wonder what was wrong with from an early age.

My family hasn’t done any research on my disease at all. I became homeless, not just because of my disorder but from drinking because my divorce tore me apart. I have looked for love in the wrong way for years. Thinking that it was normal to be out down.
I’m now standing up to my ex-husband and letting him know he can’t walk all over me anymore. He is super mad at me because we have a child support heading and it’s on his birthday.
Now, I’m down to three of my anxiety medicine because we live under the same roof. It’s my parent’s house. So not much I can do but leave myself.

Nevertheless, I am still hopeful that it is going to be better. I am going to be better!
