The last few months have been tough to handle, and I am having real hard time dealing with it. My migraines are much harder and frequent causing me to want to scream, cry, and not want to move out of my dark bedroom or more. I thought that the pain would decrease if I cut my hair. Well, I cut all my long hair off (my hair was all the way to my waist), and it did not help much. I thought needs to be shorter, with no luch at a short pixy cut style and my hair is no longer short or long.

My migraines are still as bad as ever, and the fibromyalgia is not good as well. The doctor has me on new medicine and is not helping. I hear it causes bad side effects, makes migraines worse, can initiate weight gain. On the bright side, I did get my new addition to the family and is the same breed as our other dog. She is very smart, learning fast, and will learn so much more as time goes on. I will register them both and have them learn even more.

My advice to anyone struggling with migraines is to try to get out of the dark places of your home, don’t settle on a doctor that just treats you as a guinea pig and don’t let anyone tell you it’s all in your head. You know your pain, struggles, and what would help or make it harder on yourself.

Do your best in teaching, showing, and learning as much as you can to explain your family or friends your struggles. I am just now getting my family and friends to see and (just a little) know my struggles. It did take me going out with a terrible migraine and pain for them to see how it hurts me to do anything and even move. It was not the best way and the harshest way for them to understand, but it did not backfire on me, and it did help them in some ways to understand. I don’t recommend it but find ways that work for you and your family to understand. I do know that if you are in pain and it’s bad, you should try doing something different than just taking medicines and relying on others.

I have been trying the natural oils like peppermint, and it does help on the daily migraines but bad days not as much. Changed the food I eat and I walk when I’m able. I found that it has made things a bit challenging at first, but it has given me something to look forward to. I can’t say what will work for you, but I can say what has and has not worked for me. I hope in time it gets easier.

In reality, it will not change and finding ways to handle it is the way one’s life is going to be. I heard the best saying on this ever: “if there was a magic pill to make your life come back from before all this would you take it?” My answer was yes, I would only if it made it go away, but in reality, until things change and they find ways of controlling migraines, life is not going to be as we would want it to be.
