For as long as I can remember, I’ve had to endure really bad periods and pelvic pain, but was always told these issues I was experiencing were normal and nothing to be concerned with.

It took moving out of state to learn the extent of what was causing my womanly issues. At this point, I was told I could never have kids because I had an abnormal uterus as well as a few other issues. Fortunately for me, it turns out they were wrong about infertility as I gave birth to my beautiful son in 2012 although it wasn’t easy carrying or delivering, it happened.

It was after my pregnancy my symptoms came back with a vengeance. My first doctor had me try every form of birth control imaginable until I finally decided to find a new doctor who was willing to give me the surgery I needed to get an official diagnosis of Endometriosis.

Even after my surgery, my pain has still remained so I find myself on various medications, but it seems all of that, the pain, and the stress of it all, I find myself loosing quite a bit of my hair. Through it all though, I find the strength to stay and fight for my health – all for my son.

I hope everyone has something they find worth fighting for, as I know every day can be an uphill battle.
