Try To Be in Our Shoes

Caregiving for someone with Alzheimer’s is probably one of the hardest tasks one can do. It’s hard because you are literally seeing someone you probably loved in some way (mother, father, wife, husband, etc) start to lose a sense of who they are. They forget more and more about themselves and their past. Sometimes it can be easy caring for someone and sometimes it’s not.

There are people that simply don’t understand what Alzheimer’s is and how it affects someone. These people don’t help when it comes to caregiving as they often get in the way, get angry at the person your caring for, or something else that negatively affects the person living with Alzheimer’s.  We need to spread awareness for this disease because that’s one of the only ways people will be more understanding of those living with it.

If you find yourself in need of some additional help we are developing an E-Book about the best caregiving techniques, Alzheimer tips and tricks, and inspirational stories. We will be giving it out for free ($10 value) to anyone that is signed up to receive our newsletter. We’ve also made a Coloring E-Book we want to give out to caregivers ($5 value).
