I have severe osteoarthritis. Unfortunately, I have had to have both my knees replaced, at the same time, I have had to have my shoulders both replaced, both my hips replaced.

I have had both thumbs revised and soon to have both my feet tops revised with steel rods. All of this started when I was at the age of 58 because of the severity of degradation in my bones and pain.

Between all my surgeries and scopes I have had some complications such as my right knee and hip had to be replaced again and my left shoulder because of faulty replacements.

At the moment, I am 63 and soon to have my feet done I have lost over 100lbs this last year to reduce the pain in my feet. I am thankful every day that I have my mobility and less pain.

Yes, there are days that are a struggle but overall I am thankful I can still work a retail job, no wheelchair and most of all I can drive and have the quality of life that is still there.

I know that I make my decision every day to whether I will be happy or not and I choose to work through my pain.
