Training to be sheriff always made me excited about my future. However, my weakness was always running. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been in shape all my life, but even in high school, I just couldn’t make the twelve-minute mark during Physical Education finals.

I swore something was wrong with me because when I ran, I felt heavy and tight chested which would cause me to panic. Moving further, I am now 25 years old and nothing has changed.

So, I went in one day for a paid study and they did a number of tests, including an EKG. I found out that I wasn’t qualified for the test because I failed the EKG. Apparently, one of my arteries wasn’t properly pumping blood through my body.

I’m going back and forth between doctor’s appointments as we speak. Moral of the story, don’t force your heart to do anything drastic unless you’re sure that you have a healthy heart.
