Depression has been a part of my life for as long as I remember. I didn’t know how to cope with everything that was happening to me. I used to cut myself, I used to take pills… I would do literally anything to not feel anything anymore. And for a moment it would work. I would spend so much time making myself numb that I would forget about EVERYTHING.

But that feeling was temporary. And it took me having my daughter to really understand that you HAVE to find something to live for. Even if it’s for yourself. I urge you to find something meaningful to stay alive for. Maybe your puppy, your sister, your brother, your best friend, anyone.

Find the good in life because it’s not all bad.
