Fibromyalgia cannot be seen because it doesn’t cause visible symptoms. It is a physical pain that you have, but most people don’t know about it. Some people may think that it is everything in your head, however, it’s real.

The truth is that those who never suffered something like this can never know how we are supposed to live with our condition and still make all the usual everyday things, like working or having some coffee with friends and colleagues.

It can be very debilitating but I am trying not let it define me and my personality. I am fighting so hard through it, so I can have a normal life and enjoy all the things that are happening around me. I work full time with elderly, running activities for them and keeping them busy which takes my mind off my own pain.

My goal is to enjoy life as much as I can because the fibromyalgia doesn’t define me, I am who I am, with the fibromyalgia within.
